Shame Alchemy
An 8-week somatic group programme for women ready to transform their relationship with shame.
You've done the work. You understand your patterns, you've read the books, you've been in therapy. And yet something still contracts when you make a mistake. Something still shrinks in the room. The voice that says not enough, too much, who do you think you are — it's quieter maybe, but it's still there.
That's shame. And understanding it isn't always enough to shift it.
Shame lives in the body. It lives in the freeze, the fawn, the collapse. It lives in the parts of you that learned, very early, that you had to earn your place. And it doesn't move through insight alone — it moves through felt experience, through being witnessed, through learning to resource yourself from the inside out.
That's what this programme is for.
What is Shame Alchemy?
Shame Alchemy is an 8-week live group programme for women who are ready to work more directly with shame, the inner child and the inner critic — not just to understand them, but to genuinely transform your relationship with them.
The heart of this work is inner safety. Not as a concept, but as something you can actually feel in your body.
We do this by strengthening the Adult Self — the grounded, wise part of you that can hold and resource your inner world — and by developing two powerful inner presences:
The Inner Mother — the part that offers acceptance, empathy and compassion
The Inner Father — the part that brings awareness, containment and witnessing
When these inner resources are embodied rather than just understood, shame begins to alchemise. Not disappear — but transform into something you can be with, work with, and ultimately learn from.
Who is this for?
This programme is for women who:
Have some experience of therapy, inner work or personal development and are ready to go deeper
Recognise shame, the inner critic or the wounded inner child as active forces in their lives
Feel regulated and resourced enough to engage with deeper emotional and somatic work in a group setting
Are tired of managing their shame and ready to move towards genuine inner safety
Want to do this work in community — held, witnessed, not alone
This is not a crisis support programme. It's for women who are regulated and resourced enough to engage with depth work and ready for meaningful transformation.
What's included
8 x weekly live group sessions via Zoom — 1.5 hours each, combining somatic practice, teaching, group sharing and Q&A. These are closed, confidential containers. No recordings are made.
A private WhatsApp group — a shared space for connection, integration and gentle support between sessions.
8 x weekly integration emails — each one includes somatic practices and journalling prompts to help you embody and integrate the week's work between sessions.
How it works
Each week we move through a different layer of the work — from understanding shame in the body, to meeting the inner critic, to reparenting the inner child, to building the inner mother and father, to embodying the adult self. The sessions weave together teaching, lived somatic experience and the particular healing that comes from being witnessed in a group of women doing the same work.
This isn't a course you consume. It's a container you inhabit.
A note on the group format
There is something that happens in group work that cannot be replicated 1:1. Being seen in your shame — not fixed, not advised, but genuinely witnessed — is itself a reparative experience. The group becomes a relational field in which healing happens naturally.
Sessions are closed and confidential. What is shared in the group stays in the group. There are no recordings.
Cohorts are intentionally kept small to preserve the intimacy and safety of the space.
